Job Description
Are you an experienced Field Engineer looking for a role that offers variety, responsibility, and the chance to work on innovative environmental projects? This is your opportunity to join a growing UK-based engineering company that’s making a tangible difference to the environment.
We’re seeking a multi-skilled Field Engineer (electrical/mechanical bias) to carry out installation, commissioning, and servicing of water and wastewater treatment equipment across sites nationwide.
The Role:
*
Installation, servicing, and commissioning of specialist equipment on customer sites.
*
Work on mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems (within competence).
*
Final fit-out and testing of equipment before deployment.
*
Provide technical support and training to on-site personnel.
*
Plan and carry out scheduled maintenance and respond to urgent service needs.
*
Maintain accurate service documentation and liaise with internal teams.
*
Promote a strong culture of Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality compliance.
What You’ll Need:
*
Degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
*
At least 2 years’ hands-on experience in a field-based engineering role.
*
Familiarity with construction, industrial, or environmental sectors is advantageous.
*
CSCS card required; SSSTS/SMSTS/IOSH training desirable.
*
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
*
Full UK driving licence.
*
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
