Job Description
PE Global is recruiting a Field Service Engineer for our oil and gas client on a permanent basis based in Sevenoaks (Preferred work location: Reading area)
This is a permanent role paying £35,900 - £38,000 per annum.
This role requires flexibility for travel, occasional overnight stays, and scheduled weekend availability.
Duties of the role/Responsibilities
• Calibrate, commission, and troubleshoot on-site process weighing systems using F1/M1 test weights, flow meters, and force calibration rigs
• Install and commission belt weighers and boiler leak detection systems
• Calibrate instruments for temperature, pressure, pH, conductivity, and magnet strength
• Perform off-site repairs of scales and balances
• Complete service reports and calibration certificates before leaving site
• Ensure compliance with all HSE policies and procedures
Education/Experience
• ONC or equivalent in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (HNC preferred)
• Time-served engineer or equivalent hands-on field experience
• Strong background in service/calibration of process weighing equipment
• Comfortable working under pressure and independently
• Willingness to travel throughout the UK and stay overnight as needed
