Field Service Engineer – Packaging Machinery
Location: Home-based (Northwest England)
Salary: £48,000 + £525/month vehicle allowance
Additional Benefits: Unlimited Mileage allowance, 5 weeks holiday, pension, life cover
Are you a skilled engineer with a strong mechanical and electrical background? This is an excellent opportunity to join a in the supply and servicing of liquid filling and capping machinery for the cosmetic, personal care, pharmaceutical, and healthcare industries.
Due to company growth, we are seeking a home-based Service Engineer based in the Northwest of England to cover a territory from Birmingham up to and including Scotland. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role offering variety, autonomy, and the chance to work on state-of-the-art packaging equipment.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
*
Service, repair and refurbishment of machinery at client sites across the UK
*
Collaborate with the Northern Service Manager and Directors
*
Provide onsite support, typically involving 1–2 nights away per week
✅ What You’ll Need
*
A completed engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualifications
*
Solid mechanical and electrical engineering experience
*
Clean UK driving licence
*
Experience with packaging or process machinery (desirable, not essential)
