Birmingham, West Midlands (with UK-wide travel)

We’re working with a highly respected global manufacturer of large format digital print technology – think robust UV flatbed printers, versatile roll-to-roll and hybrid systems, and advanced textile solutions. Their machines are known for delivering outstanding results in signage, graphics, packaging, textiles, and a range of industrial applications.
Due to continued growth in the UK market, they're looking to expand their tight-knit team with a skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer. This role offers the chance to work with cutting-edge technology, travel the UK, and make a real difference to customers’ businesses.

What You’ll Be Doing
Installing, commissioning, servicing, and repairing large format digital print equipment at customer sites UK-wide
Diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, and software issues – sometimes on-site, sometimes remotely
Delivering hands-on training and clear guidance to customers, ensuring they get the best from their equipment
Acting as the face of the brand, providing excellent customer service and building strong relationships
Managing your time effectively – planning routes, visits, and paperwork with minimal supervision
Staying up to date with the latest developments in print technology and sharing insights with your team

What We’re Looking For
A motivated, hands-on engineer who enjoys solving problems and takes pride in doing a great job
Comfortable with UK-wide travel and staying away from home when required
A strong communicator who’s happy to speak directly with customers, colleagues, and suppliers
Someone reliable and respectful who values teamwork and treats everyone well
Flexible and adaptable – understanding that service work involves some give-and-take and being prepared to help when needed
Background in large format print equipment, digital printing, packaging machinery, or similar electro-mechanical field service is desirable, but strong mechanical/electrical skills and the right attitude are just as important
