Field Service Engineer (Marine Turbochargers)

£40,000 - £50,000 (OTE £60,000 +) + Door-to-Door Pay + Overtime + Company Vehicle + Healthcare + International Travel + Progression

Are you a Field Service Engineer with turbocharger experience, looking to join a global engineering company where you'll work on high-value turbocharger systems across ships and power plants worldwide, with door-to-door pay, regular overtime and clear progression opportunities?

This privately owned global marine engineering company specialises in the service, repair and overhaul of exhaust gas turbochargers for the shipping and power generation industries. Established in the 1980s, the business has grown into an international specialist with a strong reputation for technical expertise and responsive customer service, supporting clients and projects across the world.

In this field-based role, you will spend around 70% of your time travelling to customer sites, vessels and power plants, with the remaining time based in the company's workshop near Southampton. You'll carry out reactive maintenance, inspection, repair and overhaul of marine turbochargers, often working on large-scale jobs where minimising customer downtime is critical. The role involves extensive international travel and regular periods away from home, with door-to-door pay and significant overtime available.

This role would suit a Field Service Engineer, Marine Engineer, Marine Technician or similar with hands-on turbocharger experience, who is comfortable with extensive international travel and looking for a technically varied role with strong earning potential and progression to Senior Engineer.

The Role:
* Service, repair and overhaul exhaust gas turbochargers
* Travel internationally to vessels, power plants and customer sites
* Carry out mainly reactive maintenance, fault-finding, inspection and repair work
* Split your time between approximately 70% field-based work and 30% workshop-based work
* Extensive international travel with regular stayaways, plus door-to-door pay and overtime

The Person:
* Field Service Engineer, Marine Engineer or similar
* Turbocharger experience
* Comfortable with extensive international travel and regular stayaways, with a full UK driving licence and commutable to Southampton
