Field Service Technician Location: Manchester Salary: £35,000 – £36,500 per annum Contract Type: Permanent Working Hours: Mon–Thurs 07:30–16:00 (30 min lunch) | Fri 07:30–12:30 About the Role 2020 Recruitment is working with a global leader in industrial equipment to recruit two experienced Field Service Technicians for their Manchester site. This role is perfect for hands-on engineers who thrive in the field, don’t mind hopping on a plane at short notice, and want to work on complex mechanical systems across the UK and overseas. Reporting directly to the Service Manager, you'll take responsibility for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and servicing of rotating and pressure equipment—including pumps, vacuum systems, and other mechanical plant—within industrial and wastewater environments. A mix of workshop support and field-based travel is expected, with a £50/day per diem for travel assignments.
