Rotherham/M62 Corridor
Are you a field service engineer or similar, looking to join a company who will invest in developing your skillset and opportunities to work with Blue Chip clients in the North of England?
This company are a well-established, family-run precision tooling company that work with major clients across the North of the UK. They provide a turnkey solution to industrial cutting and tooling machines, working with companies in the Aerospace and Oil and Gas industries, out of their modern workshop and offices in South Yorkshire.
On offer is the opportunity to join a business that will mentor and train you to become a skilled and independent engineer, working with major clients and smaller businesses alike. You will undergo training on their equipment at the manufacturer sites in mainland Europe. The ideal candidate will be travelling to client sites around the M62 corridor servicing and maintaining mechanical equipment.
This role would suit a service and maintenance engineer in the precision engineering or tooling industry, looking to progress their career and develop their skillset through extensive support and training.
The Role:
Respond to customer service calls in a timely manner
Visit client sites to carry out PPM for customers across the M62 Corridor
Install and service new machinery to customer sites
Undergo manufacturer training in Europe, with regular training days and mentoring
Travel form home to sites and assist in maintenance and servicing at the workshop when required
The Person:
Experience in a service and maintenance role in a mechanical setting
Field Service experience is desirable
Full UK driving licence
