Field Service Engineer (Print Finishing Equipment – Electrical Bias)

South East based with National travel

Up to £45k plus package incl. company vehicle

We’re working with a long-established and highly respected supplier of print finishing technology, representing some of the world’s leading manufacturers across the UK & Ireland. To support continued growth, the business is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join their growing team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically minded, customer-focused engineer who thrives in a varied role - combining hands-on servicing, installations, operator training, and customer demonstrations.

The ideal candidate for this role will be based close to the motorway network, for ease of travel, and be a qualified electrician or have industry equivalent experience.

The Role

Install, service, maintain and repair print finishing equipment across customer sites
Provide operator training and demonstrations to support sales activities
Troubleshoot technical issues, diagnose faults, and deliver solutions efficiently
Represent the company with professionalism, acting as a trusted ambassador on-site
Flexibility to travel across the UK (occasional overnight stays required).The Person

Electrical engineering background (qualified or with equivalent hands-on experience, from the print industry or other transferable background)
Previous experience working with print finishing machinery as an engineer (binding, stitching, folding, laminating, guillotines etc.) highly desirable
Strong troubleshooting skills and IT literacy
A customer-first mindset with excellent communication skills
Full, clean UK driving licence
Ideally located within reasonable distance of the motorway network (M25, M1, M11, M3, M4, M40)What’s on Offer
