In this role, you'll be responsible for the installation of high-spec security systems within substation environments. From CCTV and PIDS to access control and intruder alarms, you'll be leading installation projects, collaborating with subcontractors, and maintaining close communication with clients. It's a role that rewards attention to detail, independent thinking, and technical knowledge, all backed by ongoing training and clear progression routes.
This role would suit an experienced Installation Engineer with a strong background in access control, IP CCTV, and fire/intruder systems, looking to work in a specialist setting with long-term career growth.
The Role:
Install IP CCTV, Access Control, PIDS, and Intruder Systems on substation projects across Surrey
Work with specialist subcontractors to deliver high-quality installations
Attend site meetings, liaise with clients, and report project updates to your supervisor
Identify and contribute to joint fire and security opportunities within your projects
Complete all documentation and reports to a high standardThe Person:
Experience with IDS Galaxy, IP CCTV, Paxton, NEDAP, AXIS, BOSCH, and related systems
Proven track record in installing and maintaining access control and fire/security systems
Full UK Driving Licence
Strong communication and client-facing skills
Able to travel across Surrey and work independently
