Field Service Technician - Edinburgh / Glasgow
💰 Salary: £35,000-£37,000 (depending on experience)

Are you a hands-on problem solver who loves being out on the road?
Join the UK's leading designer, manufacturer and installer of bespoke physical security systems - and play a key role keeping their customers protected and operational.
As a Field Service Technician, you'll be the go-to expert for maintenance, repairs, installations and troubleshooting. You'll work independently, managing your own van stock, using a tablet for reporting, and delivering top-notch service to customers across Scotland.
You must also be willing to travel within a 200-mile radius when required, with additional call-out fees paid when you're on standby or responding to emergency work.
What you'll do:
Carry out routine maintenance, repairs and installations
Diagnose and fix mechanical/electrical issues on-site
Deliver great customer service and keep clients informed every step of the way
Manage your own van stock and keep job reports up to date
Support other technicians when needed
What we're looking for:
Experience in a field service, mechanical or electrical environment
Strong IT and tablet skills
A positive, can-do attitude and great communication skills
Full UK Driving Licence
Willingness to travel within a 200-mile radius and participate in call-out rota
