A market-leading manufacturer is seeking a proactive Technical Sales Engineer to support continued growth across the Midlands, South of England, and Wales. The company supplies engineered solutions and technical support to a wide range of sectors, including food processing, packaging, logistics, printing and general manufacturing. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong technical and commercial ability who thrives in a customer-focused, field-based role. Benefits  Competitive salary + annual performance bonus Company vehicle from fleet, suitable for the role 38.75-hour working week (08:30–17:00, flexibility expected) 23 days annual leave Pension scheme and industry-specific training Career development within a respected international organisation Role Responsibilities of a Technical Sales Engineer You will manage and develop sales in line with the UK business plan, supported by internal technical, production, and customer service teams. Managing and developing sales with existing accounts while generating new business. Creating structured visit plans using CRM and sales data, focusing on priority customers. Identifying opportunities, solving customer application problems, and providing technical advice. Negotiating and reviewing contracts, ensuring effective and profitable customer relationships. Reporting market intelligence and completing accurate CRM-based sales reports. Managing territory efficiently with strong time and travel planning. Collaborating with internal departments to ensure excellent service and on-time delivery. Attending sales meetings, quarterly reviews, and completing required training (internal/external, face-to-face or online). Specification of a Technical Sales Engineer Experience in technical sales, field engineering, or industrial account management. Knowledge of mechanical systems, machinery, belting, or automation is beneficial. Strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills. Self-motivated, customer-focused, and able to work independently across a large geographic area. Full UK driving licence.
