Role: 2x Finance Analyst
Type: 6 Months Fixed Term Contract
Salary: NHS Band 5 (£31,049 - £33,487, pro rata)
Hybrid: 2 days on-site ideally (some weeks may be 1 day) - flexible between two sites
Location: Northamptonshire
Sellick Partnership is partnering with an NHS organisation to recruit 2x Finance Analysts on a 6-month fixed-term basis.
The Responsibilities of the Finance Analyst will be:
Supporting the Financial Management team with monthly reporting, analysis and data for budget holders
Preparing reports, analysis and ad-hoc financial information to support decision-making
Assisting with variance analysis, financial modelling and forecasts
Acting as a point of contact for budget holders and providing advice on financial queries
Producing complex information in a clear and concise way for both finance and non-finance managers
Supporting the month-end process including journals, reconciliations, and reporting.
The Ideal candidate for the Finance Analyst will have:
Strong Excel skills, including the ability to manipulate and analyse large datasets
Good numerical skills with the ability to deep dive into data and provide meaningful insights
The ability to multitask effectively, particularly during month end where parallel tasks are required
Strong communication skills with the confidence to engage with budget holders across the organisation
Experience with advanced finance systems
NHS finance experience is desirable, but candidates from wider public sector or private backgrounds will also be considered
AAT/part-qualified or qualified by experience (full qualification not required at this level).
