Description
In this role, you'll be central to providing accurate financial reporting, insightful performance analysis and forward-looking guidance. You'll partner with colleagues across the business to give clarity on the numbers and the confidence to make good decisions.
Your day-to-day will include:
Preparing, analysing, and reporting KPIs on a monthly and quarterly basis
Monitoring weekly sales and margin performance, highlighting trends and opportunities
Delivering monthly cost centre reporting with meaningful commentary
Producing monthly management accounts and executive-level analysis
Developing quarterly accounts packs to support strategic planning
Analysing payroll costs and workforce expenditure
Appraising capital investment proposals and conducting post-implementation reviews
Carrying out competitor bench-marking and market analysis
Supporting the statutory accounts process and external audits
Getting involved in ad-hoc projects and cross-functional initiatives to drive business growthThis is a hands-on role where your insight will help shape everything from day-to-day management to long-term strategy.
Profile
You're a finance professional with at least two years' experience in financial analysis or management accounting - and you enjoy using data to solve problems.
You'll have:
A strong understanding of reporting cycles, cost centre management, and statutory accounts
Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large data sets
Accuracy and attention to detail with a commercial mindset
The ability to translate financial information in a way that's clear and useful for non-finance colleagues
A collaborative and flexible approach - and if you've used SAGE 200, that's a bonusJob Offer
