Job Description
SF are looking for a Finance Assistant to join a very established organisation based in South Leicester on a full time, permanent basis. As the Finance Assistant you will be working in a friendly Accounts Payable department.

Job duties:
- Processing or log Supplier invoices on the ledger.
- Check and maintain any logged invoices on a regular basis.
- Purchase ledger enquiries - Dealing with supplier queries concerning unpaid invoices due to pricing, quantity and delivery discrepancies, ensuring that we communicate with suppliers in a timely manner.
- Maintaining an up to date excel filing system for processed invoice/credit batches.
- To ensure that supplier account information is kept up to date by creating and amending supplier details.
- Ensure that supplier statements are reconciled to the financial system and that any differences are resolved quickly.
- Review incoming suppliers' invoices and correspondence daily.
- Prepare any logged invoices for weekly meetings.
- Action any reminder/final demand letters and escalate any issues promptly to Line Manager.
- Additional duties may be added according to the section's workload.
