Finance Assistant - Permanent | Nottingham | Up to £28,000 | Fully Onsite
Astute Recruitment are recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join a busy finance team in Nottingham. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is organised, detail-oriented, and eager to develop their finance career in a hands-on, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Processing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable ledgers
* Supporting the finance team with daily accounting tasks
* Maintaining accurate financial records and assisting with reconciliations
* Handling supplier and customer queries
* Contributing to reporting and process improvements
* Supporting the wider finance team as required
What we’re looking for:
* Proven experience across the full finance function
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
* Proactive and able to work independently while supporting a team
* Confident using Microsoft Excel and open to learning new systems
* Positive attitude and willingness to take on new challenges
