VNI Finance is delighted to be supporting our client in Glasgow with the recruitment of a Finance Assistant.
The role reports directly to the Head of Finance and will be part of a small and supportive team in Glasgow.
Role Overview:
Process invoices, payments and receipts with precision
Complete bank reconciliations and manage bank transactions across the business units
Reconciliation of key supplier accounts
Preparation of supplier payment runs
Leading on credit control, liaising with customers on payment expectations
Management of mailbox including handling queries
Review and processing of employee expenses and credit card reconciliation
Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
Assisting with month end closure as appropriate
Assist with payroll processing and related tasks as appropriate
Support the wider business with procurement and administrative tasks as required
Ad-hoc project work
Candidate Background:
Some experience of working in a finance time essential
Working with multiple business units preferred
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent Microsoft Office skills particularly excel
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Package:
£28,000- £32,000
Hybrid working with an early finish on a Friday
