Description
Provide financial analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making.
Collaborate with department heads to prepare budgets and forecasts.
Monitor financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
Provide financial support to the Adult Social Care business, assisting with financial planning, budgeting, and identifying savings.
Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
Support audits by providing accurate and timely financial data.
Act as the key finance contact for specific projects or initiatives.Profile
A successful Finance Business Partner should have:
Professional Accounting qualification (CIPFA, ACA, CIMA, ACCA)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience working within a Local Authority or a similar environment.
Proficiency in financial reporting and budgeting.
Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-finance staff.Job Offer
