Job Title: Finance Business Partner
Location: Norfolk / Hybrid
Type: Full-Time / Part-Time, Permanent
Salary: £46k - £49k (DOE) plus excellent benefits
We're working with a forward-thinking public sector organisation that's looking to appoint a capable and collaborative Finance Business Partner. This is your opportunity to play a key role at the heart of financial strategy, supporting decision-makers and influencing how resources are used to deliver meaningful outcomes for communities.
You'll act as a trusted advisor to budget holders and leadership teams, blending insight, analysis, and commercial acumen with a deep understanding of service delivery. This is a role for someone who can zoom out for the big picture, but also isn't afraid to get into the detail when needed.
What You'll Be Doing:
Providing strategic financial advice and support across a range of service areas
Leading on budget planning, monitoring, and year-end close processes
Translating complex data into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders
Supporting the development of financial models and medium-term plans
Building strong partnerships across departments and influencing at a senior level
Supporting governance, internal controls, and value-for-money analysis
Playing a key part in audits, statutory returns, and continuous improvement projects
What We're Looking For:
Fully or part-qualified accountant, or extensive relevant experience
Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. Ideally in a multi-service or public sector setting
A confident communicator who can simplify financial complexity and inspire trust
Skilled in report writing, analysis, and stakeholder management
Proactive, people-focused, and ready to challenge the status quo when needed
