CMA is delighted to be recruiting for a Finance Analyst to join a global brand based in Portsmouth on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a highly collaborative, cross-functional team supporting government and defence-related projects.
This role is ideal for a finance professional who is keen to develop their project accounting and financial analysis experience in a complex, fast-paced environment with excellent long-term career growth and development opportunities.
What will the Finance Analyst role involve?
Act as the financial focal point for key programme areas, providing timely, insightful data for decision-making
Deliver full-cycle project accounting, from proposal development through to contract closure
Prepare detailed variance analysis and monthly performance reports
Support monthly and quarterly forecasting processes
Contribute to strategic finance direction and operational planning
Suitable Candidate for the Finance Analyst vacancy:
Experience in a project-focused finance or operations-facing role
Part-qualified/qualified (ACCA, CIMA)
Strong analytical and Excel skills
Comfortable working with large datasets and multiple stakeholders
Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to driving results
