Exciting opportunity for a Finance Compliance Analyst based at a large manufacturing site near Maidstone, Kent. Monday to Friday 8.30 – 4.30. Permanent contract offering great career prospects and benefits to include Pension, Private Medical, on-site gym and more.
This site is part of a global recycling / packaging manufacturing group. We are looking for a versatile and proactive Finance Compliance Analyst to support a broad range of finance-related projects within two sites in the UK. While a strong foundation in SOX compliance is essential, this role also offers the opportunity to contribute to sustainability reporting and other strategic finance initiatives. You will work closely with cross-functional and cross business area teams to drive successful project delivery that supports regulatory compliance, financial integrity, and sustainability goals.
Job Summary and Responsibilities
* The Finance Compliance Analyst will support finance-related projects across two UK sites, focusing on SOX compliance, sustainability reporting, and financial integrity.
* Key duties include harmonizing SOX controls, assisting in financial control submissions, enhancing sustainability reporting, leading process optimization projects, and developing financial dashboards in Power BI.
Job Requirements
* Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, with qualifications such as CIMA or ACCA preferred.
* Essential skills include understanding financial processes, proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office (especially Power BI), and practical experience in financial compliance and audit.
* Personal attributes sought include analytical thinking, attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach.
