Job Description
We are working with a primary school in Thamesmead (borough of Greenwich), who’s looking for a Finance / Compliance officer to join their school.
The successful candidate will be employed on a long-term agency contract, with the view to become a permanent member of staff (if all goes well).
Please note you MUST have experience working in a school to apply for this position.
Finance / Compliance officer - Primary School - Thamesmead
* Mainstream school located in Thamesmead (borough of Greenwich)
* Working hours: 8.30 AM - 4.30 PM, 5 days per week
* Daily pay rate: £115 - £132 per day (depending on experience)
* Start date: Week beginning 17th of November 2025
* To support the schools business and facilities manager with day to day finance and school procedures.
* Lead on areas of administration to ensure compliance and efficiency across new supplier checks, pupil admissions, after schools / breakfast club etc
Requirements:
* You MUST have experience working in a school (ideally in a similar type of role)
* Excellent communication skills
* Must have an enhanced DBS certificate
* Experience in Finance / Admissions is a plus
* SIMS or Parent pay experience is essential
