Temporary Finance Executive – Immediate Start (Contract)
Pertemps is urgently seeking a Finance Executive on a temporary contract to join a well-established organisation based in the Edinburgh area. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can hit the ground running.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparation of monthly management accounts and supporting schedules
Reconciliations across various ledgers and bank accounts
Assisting with month-end and year-end processes
Processing accounts payable and receivable accurately and on time
Supporting VAT returns and liaising with external auditors
Ensuring compliance with financial policies and internal controlsEssential Skills & Experience:
Proven track record in a Finance Executive / Senior Accountant type role
Strong experience with reconciliations, management accounts, and financial reporting
Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
Good working knowledge of accounting systems (desirable: Sage / Sun / Dynamics or equivalent)
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently as well as collaborativelyContract Details:
