Job Description
Finance Manager | Central Manchester | Up to £55,000
Axon Moore is exclusively partnering with a leading Manchester business who are looking to add a qualified Finance Manager (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) into their team.
This is a hands-on, technical role supporting the Financial Controller and taking ownership of key areas of the finance function, including:
Statutory reporting, group consolidation, and management accounts
Month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, and internal controls
Budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
Treasury and cash flow management
Leading a small transactional team
Liaising with auditors and external advisors
We’re looking for someone with solid technical skills and great attention to detail. You’ll be confident managing a team, working with deadlines, and explaining financial information to non-financial colleagues. Excellent Excel skills and an interest in improving processes with technology are a must.
Person Specification
Qualifications: Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
Experience: Statutory reporting, tax/VAT compliance, management accounts, budgeting & forecasting, treasury/cash flow
Personal Attributes: Flexible, proactive, collaborative, methodical, and detail-oriented
This is a technically challenging, hands-on finance role with exposure across statutory reporting, treasury, budgeting, and management accounts.
