A rapidly growing, investor-backed SME in Bingley is seeking a driven and commercially minded Finance Manager to support its Finance & Commercial Director during an important phase of scale-up and additional investment.
The Finance Manager will take responsibility for overseeing the day-to-day finance function, supporting and developing a small team, and giving the Finance & Commercial Director, the time to focus on commercial strategy, growth, and investor relations. This role is ideal for someone ready to step up and take ownership and looking for a meaningful progression opportunity.
It’s a hands-on, fast-paced environment. While core processes such as invoicing are already in place, the business needs someone who can transform raw data into clear insight, improve visibility around client-level profitability, engineer productivity, stock and logistics, and enable more informed commercial decisions. The company currently uses Xero but plans to implement a more advanced CRM, offering the incoming Finance Manager the chance to influence the future financial systems landscape.

Key responsibilities include:
Overseeing day-to-day finance operations and taking ownership of the finance function
Developing and mentoring the finance team
Enhancing financial reporting, insight, and profitability analysis
Improving processes, controls, and systems
Supporting stock, logistics, and operational productivity reporting
