Job Description

We are working with a fantastic organisation in Leeds who are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join their team to lead and drive performance. This hands on, operationally focussed role, the Finance Manager will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the wider finance team which covers Accounts payable & receivable along with credit control within a high-volume setting. Working in this fully on-site role, the successful applicant will ensure the accurate and timely processing of transactions, leading and supporting from the front. Day to day responsibilities will include;

Oversee daily operations across Sales Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Credit Control
Manage high-volume invoice processing, cash allocation, reconciliations, and payment runs.
Process weekly supplier payment runs
Ensure supplier payments and customer invoicing are accurate 
Maintain effective control of creditor and debtor ledgers
Prepare daily bank files for posting 
Deliver accurate and timely month-end close activities 
Lead credit control activity across multiple ledgers
Own escalated and high-risk debtor accounts, ensuring timely resolution.
Proactively manage aged debt
Contribute to weekly cash flow forecasting and working capital reporting.
Support overall cash management strategy 
Manage and support the transactional finance team o
Allocate and prioritise workloads

Minimum of 2-4 years financial management experience
Strong leadership
Finance & Accountancy degree
