Job Description

SF Recruitment are working with a growing organisation based in Stratford-Upon-Avon who are looking to recruit a Finance Manager. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role will play a key part in supporting the day-to-day management of the UK finance function while driving process improvements and helping the business continue its growth. 
 
This is a varied and hands-on position suited to an ambitious finance professional who is looking to take the next step in their career, lead a team and contribute to the development of a high-performing finance function within a growing organisation. 
 
The Role 
 
Key responsibilities will include: 
 
Preparation and reporting of monthly consolidated management accounts 
 
Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency across finance processes, particularly within purchase and sales ledger 
 
Management and development of the finance team 
 
Improving short and long-term cashflow forecasting 
 
Ownership of balance sheet reconciliations 
 
Responsibility for group budgets and forecasting 
 
Driving continuous improvement and strengthening financial controls 
 
Preparation of UK tax returns and reconciliations 
 
Acting as key contact for auditors and banking partners 
 
Financial modelling across P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow 
 
Producing detailed board reporting packs 
 
Requirements:
 
Qualified or Finalist (ACCA / CIMA / ACA) 
 
Technically strong with solid financial accounting knowledge 
 
Experienced in financial modelling and reporting 
 
Proven experience within a finance function with team management responsibility 
 
Comfortable working in a hands-on, fast-paced environment 
 
Able to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities
