Job Description
Are you an experienced and dedicated Finance professional ready to take on a leadership role? We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our Andover based client as a Finance Manager. This position reports directly to the Financial Controller and involves managing the finance accounts team on a day-to-day basis. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing support to the Financial Controller in areas such as Finance, Management Accounts and Purchase Ledger.
What will the Finance Manager role involve?
Timely and accurate production of management information and documentation.
Oversight of year-end information and documentation, including statutory requirements.
Developing and managing annual budgets, as well as quarterly reforecasting.
Providing management information to internal parties, including management accounts and Board Reports.
Reviewing and monitoring the performance of the Finance team and all produced information/documents.
Managing professional relationships with third parties such as insurers, banks, auditors, and warranty providers.
Leading, motivating, and training staff, conducting appraisals and job description reviews.
Regularly reviewing and monitoring all processes involving the Finance Department for efficiency and relevance.
Recruitment of new team members when necessary.
Suitable Candidate for the Finance Manager vacancy:
ACCA or CIMA Qualified or QBE with proven experience in a finance management role.
Must have supervised staff
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of statutory and financial regulations.
Ability to analyse and interpret financial data.
Detail-oriented with strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
