A well-established SME operating in the manufacturing sector is looking to appoint a hands-on finance manager to support the Board of Directors.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and KPI reporting.
Deliver accurate monthly and annual financial reporting, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
Manage cash flow, working capital, VAT, and corporation tax processes.
Oversee payroll, supplier payments, and day-to-day financial operations.
Line-manage and develop a small finance team.
Drive improvements in financial processes, systems, and reporting capabilities.
Provide financial insight to support strategic planning, investment, and operational decisions.
Candidate Profile:
Professionally qualified or qualified by expeirence.
Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
Strong leadership skills with experience managing finance teams.
Advanced Excel and financial modelling ability; Sage 200 experience advantageous.
Background in manufacturing or engineering environments preferred.
Commercially astute, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
