T2M Resourcing are working on behalf of global market leader who have an opportunity for Finance Manager -Stock & Capex to join their Finance team. This is a key role that will take ownership of Inventory and Capex financial controls, support month-end close, and contribute to ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. Working closely with stakeholders across the business, you’ll play a vital role in improving processes, embedding strong financial discipline, and supporting our performance goals.
* Salary £60,000 to £70,000 dependant upon experience + Benefits Package
* Hybrid Role – 3 days office based
* Location: Goole
As Finance Manager – Stock & Capex your key responsibilities will include:
* Lead month-end and business-as-usual Inventory reporting processes, including valuation, provisions, write-offs, adjustments, standard costing updates and BOM simplification.
* Coordinate and support Inventory counts and liaise with external auditors.
* Build strong relationships with operational and commercial teams to embed best practice Inventory behaviours and drive enhanced control.
* Take full ownership of Capex reporting, monitoring spend, reconciling to the fixed asset register and ensuring governance standards are met.
* Support wider financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis activities.
* Deliver timely month-end balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis.
To be successful as Finance Manager – Stock & Capex, you will have the following skills, experience and attributes:
* Qualified accountant (CIMA / ACA / ACCA or equivalent).
* Previous experience within manufacturing or distribution environments.
* Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
* Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
* Excellent communication skills and a strong team ethic.
* A proactive, accountable approach with the confidence to challenge and drive change.
* Experience improving stock control processes.
* Capable of implementing and adapting systems to improve decision-making
