Academy Finance Officer for Authentic Education
Location: St Aldhelm’s Academy and Bay Academy
Salary: Grade 6 SCP 16-22 (£29,572-£32,654) Term Time, plus 2 weeks 37hours per week – pro-rata start salary £26,502.19
The Role
We are seeking to recruit a Finance Officer based on rotation at our St Aldhelm’s Academy and Bay Academy. This role will see you undertake responsibilities as a member of the finance team within central services to provide efficient and effective assistance with academy invoicing and income generation, administration ensuring the day-to-dayprocesses are managed in an accurate and timely manner liaising with external third parties and internal departments across all academies and the Trust head office.
The Ideal Candidate
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent analytical skills with the ability to solve problems and supply solutions. You would need to be proficient in Microsoft office packages, including Excel, to work confidentially and in line with GDPR and internal processes to protect information. Strong ability to manage conflicting deadlines and demands with ability to lead and manage staff developing relationships at all levels. Part- qualified or working towards a recognised accountancy qualification (e.g. AAT, CIPFA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent experience.
