Position: Financial Accountant
Location: Hybrid – 1/2 days in the Office based in Holborn
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:30.

The Position
As Odevo continues to expand, we’re looking for a Financial Accountant to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-growing company, playing an essential role in shaping our strategy.
Working closely with the Financial Controller you’ll be responsible for managing monthly financial processes
Duties will include:
Managing month end close activities, including processing and posting of invoices, journals, and recharges across the group.
Performing Capex adjustments and ensuring accurate month end reporting.
Carrying out bank reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy and integrity.
Setting up and processing supplier payments in a timely and efficient manner.
Uploading and maintaining accurate financial data for group level consolidated reporting.
Working closely with the Financial Controller to resolve audit and tax queries from auditors and external advisors.
Liaising directly with external auditors during interim and year end audits.
Assisting with the preparation of budgets, providing insightful analysis and commentary to support decision-making.
Reviewing and updating financial forecasts to reflect current business performance and market conditions.Experience required:
We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual with the following experience and attributes:
Part-qualified accountant currently working towards a recognised professional qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
Proven experience in financial accounting, in a fast-paced environment.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Confident user of financial systems and tools, with solid Excel skills; experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a continuous improvement mindset.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with auditors and internal stakeholders.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of financial reporting.
Well-organised and able to manage multiple priorities, working effectively to tight deadlines.
