Job Description
We are currently recruiting for one of our Royston based clients who are recruiting for a Financial Accountant to join their growing team on a full-time basis, with a hybrid working pattern. To be successful, you will need to have experience in a similar role.
Typical duties include:
* Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts
* Supporting both internal and external reporting processes
* Ensuring deadlines are met when producing financial statements and analysis
* Reviewing financial controls and suggesting improvements where necessary
* Assisting with audit preparation and liaising with external auditors
* Ensuring statutory accounts and tax filings are completed accurately and on time
* Supporting wider finance projects and carrying out other ad-hoc tasks when required
You will have:
* A professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA)
* Strong technical knowledge with the ability to apply it in a commercial environment
* The ability to be flexible and support the needs of the wider team when necessary
* A keen eye for detail and excellent organisational skills
