Job Description
Our client is a global leader in the Software services field. They are now seeking an experienced Financial Accountant for a 3 month contract based at their prestigious central London offices. This is a hybrid role with 2 to 3 days a week in the office.
Duties of the Financial Accountant:
* Maintain financial records and ensure that financial transactions are properly recorded.
* Ensure the accuracy of entries to ledger accounts and reconcile subsidiary ledger accounts to the general ledger.
* Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements and other financial reports.
* Analyze current costs, revenues, financial commitments incurred to predict future revenues and expenses.
Skills/Qualifications
* Strong technical (US GAAP) and financial accounting expertise.
* Month end close experience (Journals and reconciliations).
* Compliance filing experience (Financial statement preparation, VAT, Corporate tax).
* Accounting software. (Oracle financials ). Excel and presentation skills.
* Professional Accounting qualification, ACA or ACCA.
* Big 4/Top 10 Accounting firm background would be great.
