The Role: I am recruiting a Financial Adviser on behalf of MLP Wealth Management, a progressive and ambitious independent Chartered Financial Planning firm based in Banstead, Surrey (SM7). The successful candidate is likely to be a relatively recently qualified Financial Adviser (Financial Planner, Financial Advisor, IFA) or an experienced Paraplanner with client facing experience, who is ready to transition into advising. This is an employed role where they will be provided with an established portfolio of highly varied and frequently complex clients, delivering fully holistic, independent financial advice, whilst working alongside and learning from expert Chartered Financial Planners.
The Person: The successful Financial Adviser (Financial Planner, Financial Advisor, IFA) will be a warm relationship builder who is capable of delivering a personalised and holistic financial planning service of the highest standard, providing clarity and empowering clients to make informed decisions. You will receive the support and funding to enable you to progress professionally, working towards becoming Chartered (if you are not already). The successful Financial Adviser will be aspirational and keen to make a significant contribution to the growth of a progressive and ambitious firm while being invested in, valued and rewarded accordingly.
Salary and Benefits: Basic salary up to £80,000 (dependant on experience) + bonus + generous pension + continued professional development + 25 days holiday + bank holidays + private health care + flexible working etc.

Financial Adviser (Financial Planner, Financial Advisor, IFA), Responsibilities:
* Service and develop strong relationships with an established portfolio of clients.
* Conduct client review meetings, providing highly personalised, holistic financial advice, including but not limited to:
* Cashflow forecasting.
* Pension and retirement planning.
* Investment planning Inheritance tax and estate planning.
* Ongoing investment and portfolio reviews.
* Protection advice.
* Work with Paraplanning support team to ensure all technical advice is expertly prepared prior to meetings and that all client wishes are followed in an appropriate and timely manner.
* Ensure all regulatory and compliance standards are met.
* Contribute to the ongoing growth and development of best practice within the business.
Financial Adviser (Financial Planner, Financial Advisor, IFA), Skills and Experience:
* Experience of working as a Financial Adviser (Financial Planner, Financial Advisor, IFA) - we are happy to consider a newly qualified Adviser, keen to work with established portfolio of clients and progress their career or a Paraplanner with client facing experience, who is ready to transition into advising.
* Experience of all areas of financial planning – cashflow forecasting, taxation, investment portfolio management, pensions, protection, estate planning etc.
* Diploma in Financial Planning (Dip PFS, Level 4) and either Chartered or keen to work towards becoming a Chartered Financial Planner (support with this will be provided).
* A keen listener, a strong relationship builder and collaborative team player with a caring, customer centric approach.
* Quality focused, analytical with excellent attention to detail.
