About the Client Our client is an award winning Financial Advisory firm, and they are looking for an Adviser to support their Financial Advisers. Previous financial experience would be a benefit however someone who wants to follow this career path and understands the house buying process / mortgages would also be suitable. The salary reflects to amount / type of experience. My client is looking for someone willing to learn and take some financial exams (paid for by the company). Salary: £25,000 - £40,000 DOE Hours: Monday to Friday 8.00am – 5.00pm (normally finish at 4.00pm Friday) Location: Office Based, Milton Keynes in beautiful riverside offices, working with a dynamic, professional and friendly team Benefits * 28 days holiday (inc. bank holidays) PLUS additional holidays to cover Christmas and New Year closure * Parking * Training in the financial services sector * Company events * Company pension * Free parking (on-site or nearby) * Referral programme * Sick pay About the Role As a Financial Adviser Support you will take responsibility for the ongoing relationships for a portfolio of clients and supporting the financial adviser by performing tasks such as: * Creating Annual Review Reports accurately * Creating Valuations * Performing fund switches on client portfolios * Maintaining regular contact with clients via phone calls, email and letters * Expected to attend networking event every one to two weeks * Sitting on the Financial Adviser client meetings with clients as well as actioning any outcomes, updating client fact-find and client notes. * Dealing with client queries (via liaison with the financial adviser) in the expected time frame * Build a strong relationship with clients * Assist with general office duties required within a small specialist company About You * Work within defined business process and take on responsibility * Ability to achieve agreed outcomes independently * Ability to plan own workload * Detailed and accurate * Organised * Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively * Maintaining confidentiality * Proactive * Work effectively with the team
