Up to £65,000 DOE

Our client, a well-established global manufacturer with ambitious UK growth plans, is seeking a Financial Controller to join their Chester team. This is a high-profile role offering real responsibility and leadership opportunities.

Responsibilities include:
Taking full ownership of month-end close and statutory reporting under UK GAAP.
Managing budgets, forecasts and cashflow, providing insight to influence business decisions.
Overseeing relationships with auditors, tax advisors and other external stakeholders.
Partnering with operations, sales and procurement to provide actionable financial insight and drive business performance.
About you:
ACCA qualified (essential)
Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience, ideally in industry or practice.
Strong technical accounting knowledge, SAP experience desirable.
Ambitious, proactive and confident communicator.
Commercially minded and eager to step into leadership and influence the business.
