Job Description
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented standalone Financial Operations Lead to take ownership of our client's accounting function. If you thrive in a busy, varied role and enjoy seeing the bigger picture of a business's financial health, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day financial operations. Your duties will include:
Processing invoices, expenses and reconciling supplier statements
Ensuring all bank transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled
Assisting with VAT calculations and submissions
Supporting month-end and year-end processes, including preparing reports and statements
Assisting with payroll processing
Maintaining accurate financial records in line with regulations and company policiesRequirements
Proven accounting experience - preferably part-qualified ACCA / CIMA (all candidates will be considered included QBE and AAT applicants)
Excellent proficiency with Xero
A solid understanding of financial processes and accounting principles
Strong numerical and analytic skills with high attention to detail
