Job Title: Finishing Foreperson – New Build High-Rise Apartments
Location: Wigan

About the Role:
This is a key site-based role for an experienced Finishing Foreperson to join the team on a high-profile new build high-rise apartment development in Wigan. The position involves taking control of the internal works package, initially starting with internal wall panel installation, and progressing through all internal fit-out stages including drylining, M&E coordination, joinery, tiling, decoration, and final snagging.
You will be the main point of contact for the internal finishing works, working closely with subcontractors, suppliers, and site management to ensure all tasks are delivered to a high standard, on time, and in line with project specifications.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in internal finishes, a good eye for detail, and a proactive attitude towards quality control and site safety. As the build progresses, your responsibilities will expand to oversee the full internal finishing programme through to completion and handover.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate internal trades and subcontractors
*
Monitor and maintain high standards of quality across all internal works
*
Manage installation of internal wall panels and subsequent finishes
*
Ensure health and safety compliance on site
*
Liaise with Site Management and Project Teams to maintain program timelines
*
Conduct snagging, inspections, and ensure timely completion to a high standard
*
Drive works through to successful handover
Requirements:
*
Valid CSCS card
*
SMSTS or SSSTS certification
*
First Aid certification (desirable)
*
Proven experience as a Finishing Foreperson or similar role on new build residential projects
*
Strong organisational and communication skills
*
Ability to manage multiple trades and push programme forward effectively
