Job Description
What is in it for you?
* Starting rate of £30,816 per annum, increasing to £32,411 when signed off on the machine
* Average 42 hours per week – shift working Week 1: Monday to Thursday 6am – 6pm, Week 2: Monday to Wednesday 6pm – 6am (subject to change in future)
* 28 days holiday per year – 2 weeks compulsory shutdown

Your new role:
* Operation of Slitter/Rewinder machinery to required specification / quality standards
* Operation of Core Cutting machinery to required specification / quality standards
* Operation of Bailer/Packing machinery to required specification / quality standards
* Completion of production and / or quality related paperwork and I.T. systems for data-capture accordingly
* Provide support, training and cover to other team personnel
* Any other existing or new tasks needed to meet the production teams responsibilities and objectives that are in keeping with post-holders skills and training
* Operation of machinery implies additionally setting up machine to achieve required quality / specification, loading and unloading whether automated/assisted/manual or otherwise, and maintaining machinery and the working area in a manner that ensures hygiene, quality and EHS requirements are met
* Compliance with the company’s policies, procedures, works instructions and safe systems of work
What you’ll need to succeed:
* Know how to operate the Slitter/Rewinder/Core Cutter/Bailer and packing machinery
* Know how to control the processes once the machine is running
* Know how to operate overhead hoists, hand trucks, electric trucks and scales
* Know the Health and Safety aspects of the job
* Know the Fire and Evacuation procedures and can operate any fire protection equipment on machines
