Job Description
Our client is looking for an experienced print finishing operative on a permanent basis in the North East. You will play a crucial role in making printed materials into professional products, utilizing precision cutting, laminating, binding, folding techniques as well as other finishing skills. You will ensure that the customers receive a quality finished product.
Responsibilities
* Execute various finishing processes such as cutting, binding, laminating, and folding to complete printed product.
* Conduct thorough quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet high standards and customer expectations.
* Operate and maintain finishing equipment, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine maintenance.
* Manage workflow efficiently to meet production schedules and ensure timely delivery of finished products.
* Handle and organize printed materials, preparing them for finishing processes.
Requirements:
* Prior experience as a Print Finishing Operative or in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering finished products of the highest quality.
* Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
* Capable of troubleshooting and resolving issues during the finishing process.
* Willingness to adapt to changing priorities throughout the working day
* Flexibility to work occasional weekends or overtime as needed.
