About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Fire Alarm & Security Engineer to join our growing team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will work across a range of commercial sites including hospitals and retail environments, carrying out installation, servicing, maintenance, fault-finding, and commissioning works on fire alarm and security systems.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated engineer looking for long-term stability and progression within a professional and supportive company.
Key Responsibilities
  * Installation, servicing, maintenance, and fault-finding of fire alarm systems
  * Working on commercial sites including hospitals and retail premises
  * Diagnosing and resolving faults efficiently
  * Ensuring all works are completed in line with industry regulations and company standards
  * Completing relevant documentation and service reports accurately
  * Liaising professionally with clients, site managers, and contractors
  * Adhering to health and safety procedures at all times
Requirements
  * FIA Units 1 & 2 certification essential
  * BS2391 / BS5839 certification required
  * Previous experience working on commercial fire alarm and security systems
  * Experience within hospital and retail environments preferred
  * Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  * Good communication and organisational skills
  * Full UK Driving Licence essential
Desirable Experience
  * Security systems experience including CCTV, access control, and intruder alarms
  * Experience working independently across multiple sites
  * ECS/CSCS card beneficial
