Job Description

Fire Alarm System Engineer 📍 London + Surrounding Areas Training We’re representing a well-established building services contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-spec fire alarm installations and maintenance contracts across London and the South East. Due to continued project wins and long-term framework agreements, they are seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Engineer with 5–6 years’ experience to join their growing team. 🔧 The Role: * Install, commission, and maintain fire detection systems (mainly addressable) * Cover a wide variety of sites: commercial offices, healthcare, education, residential developments * Work with leading systems such as Kentec, Advanced, Morley, Gent, and others * Fault-finding, small works, testing, and service reporting * Occasional call-outs and overtime, paid accordingly ✅ What You’ll Need: * 5–6 years hands-on experience with fire alarm systems * Confident in installation, commissioning, and servicing * Good knowledge of BS 5839 and industry regulations * Valid ECS card (essential) * Full UK Driving Licence * FIA Units or manufacturer training (desirable, not essential) 💼 What’s on Offer: * £40,000 – £48,000 / TEMP - PERM. * Fully equipped van + fuel card * Paid travel, call-out rota, and regular overtime available * Ongoing manufacturer and industry training * Supportive management and a steady flow of London-based projects * Long-term security with projects booked through 2026 This is a great opportunity for an experienced fire alarm engineer who’s ready to take the next step with a professional and growing team — without the hassle of long-distance travel. 📩 Apply today for a confidential conversation — interviews are being arranged immediately
