We are working with a well-established fire and security company seeking a Fire Alarm Service & Small Works Engineer to join their team, covering Hampshire, Berkshire and parts of West London.

The Role

As a Fire Alarm Service & Small Works Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, fault-finding and carrying out small remedial and installation works on a range of fire alarm systems across commercial and industrial sites.

Key Responsibilities

Service and maintenance of fire alarm systems
Diagnosing and rectifying faults on fire detection systems
Carrying out small works, upgrades and system modifications
Replacing and installing field devices, panels and associated equipment
Completing planned preventative maintenance visits
Ensuring systems remain compliant with current industry standards
Producing accurate service reports and documentation
Providing excellent customer service and technical support on-site
Working closely with customers to identify and complete remedial works where required

Requirements

Essential

Previous experience servicing and maintaining fire alarm systems
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Experience carrying out small works and system modifications
Good understanding of fire detection and life safety systems
Full UK Driving Licence
Strong communication and customer-facing skills
Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
