Are you an experienced Fire & Security Design Engineer looking for your next challenge? Our client, a leading provider in the Fire & Security sector, is seeking a talented Design Engineer to join their growing team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, delivering innovative and compliant design solutions for both fire safety and security systems.
🔧 The Role:
* Designing bespoke fire and security systems (intruder alarms, CCTV, access control, fire detection).
* Working closely with clients, surveyors, and project managers to deliver cost-effective, compliant designs.
* Producing detailed CAD drawings, schematics, and system specifications.
* Ensuring all designs meet relevant British Standards, legislation, and client requirements.
* Supporting the sales and projects teams with technical input during tenders and installations.
About You:
* Proven experience as a Design Engineer within the Fire & Security industry.
* Strong technical knowledge of fire detection and security systems (BS 5839, BS EN 62676, BS 4737, etc).
* CAD proficiency and excellent attention to detail.
* Confident communicator with the ability to engage with both clients and internal teams.
* Based in Herts, Essex, or North London, with flexibility to travel to client sites.
The Package:
* Salary up to £55,000 (depending on experience).
