Due to ongoing expansion and new project wins, they are now seeking an experienced Fire & Security Engineer to join their dedicated team, working across the Manchester region and surrounding areas.

About the Role
As a Fire & Security Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering installation, servicing, maintenance, and fault-finding across a range of systems, including fire alarms, intruder alarms, access control, and CCTV. The role offers variety, working across a diverse range of sectors including commercial, industrial, educational, and residential sites.
You'll be responsible for providing an excellent level of customer service while ensuring systems are fully functional, compliant with regulations, and meet the company's high standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities
Installation & Commissioning of a range of fire and security systems, including conventional and addressable fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV (IP and analogue), and access control.
Servicing & Maintenance to ensure systems remain reliable, compliant, and operational.
Fault Finding & Repairs, working independently to diagnose issues and provide effective resolutions in a timely manner.
Compliance & Documentation: Completing service reports, certificates, and documentation to meet industry regulations and company procedures.
Customer Service: Acting as a professional ambassador for the company, building strong working relationships with clients.
Health & Safety Compliance: Adhering to company and statutory health & safety requirements on every site.
Overtime & Travel: Benefit from door-to-door paid travel and access to overtime to maximise your earnings.
Requirements & Skills
Proven background working with fire alarms, intruder systems, CCTV, and access control.
Recognised qualifications such as FIA (Fire Industry Association) units, ECS/CSCS card, or equivalent certifications would be an advantage.
Experience with leading brands and systems (e.g., Texecom, Paxton, Hikvision, Honeywell, Advanced, Kentec, C-Tec, Apollo, Hochiki) desirable.
Strong fault-finding, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
Full UK driving licence - essential.
Good working knowledge of BS 5839, BS EN 50131, NSI/SSAIB standards beneficial.
Excellent interpersonal skills with a customer-focused attitude.
Ability to work independently, as well as part of a close-knit engineering team.
