Job Title: Fire & Security Service Engineer
Location: Devon – Covering Plymouth, Exeter, Torquay and surrounding areas
Salary: Up to £40,000 + Overtime + Call-Out + Full Company Package
Job Type: Permanent | Full-Time
Overview:
An established, independent fire & security installation company is seeking a skilled Fire & Security Service Engineer to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced engineer looking for local coverage across the Devon region with a well-respected, professional employer.
The Role:
* Carry out routine service and maintenance on fire & security systems
* Diagnose faults and complete repairs in line with NSI standards
* Participate in the emergency call-out rota
* Work with a variety of commercial, retail and high-end residential clients
* Maintain strong customer relationships and deliver high service standards
Key Skills & Experience Required:
* Proven experience with Fire Alarm systems (conventional & addressable)
* Knowledge of Intruder Alarms (including wireless), CCTV and Access Control (IP experience beneficial)
* Full UK driving licence
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
* Good communication and a customer-focused approach
