Overview A leading engineering consultancy is seeking a Senior Fire Assessor to support the safety of critical infrastructure projects. This role involves delivering fire strategies, risk assessments and design-stage consultancy across high-risk environments including defence, energy and hazardous facilities.
Key Responsibilities
Develop fire safety strategies, technical reports and compliance documentation
Lead or contribute to design reviews and propose effective fire safety solutions
Conduct fire engineering analysis, including smoke and evacuation modelling
Collaborate with architects, clients and regulatory bodies to align fire safety measures
Use advanced modelling software to perform fire dynamics assessmentsEssential Skills and Experience
Degree in Fire Safety Engineering or related discipline
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Experience in fire risk assessment and strategy development
Familiarity with evacuation modelling and fire dynamics toolsDesirable
Prior consultancy experience
Knowledge of DSEAR regulations
