Fire Commissioning Engineer - £35,000-£40,000- West Midlands
* Working Hours: Monday to Friday
* No regular call-out rota
* £35,000+ per annum (depending on experience), plus overtime
* Choice of company van or car (includes personal use)

Fire Commissioning Engineer Company Overview:
This is a diverse and hands on role within a small, close-knit team. The successful candidate will focus exclusively on fire alarm systems, with responsibilities including servicing, commissioning, programming, and supporting installation projects.
Fire Commissioning Engineer Role & Responsibilities:
The role is predominantly project based, with minimal call out requirements. You’ll work closely with installation teams offering technical advice, ensuring systems are correctly supplied and installed, and carrying out final commissioning to ensure everything is fully operational and compliant.
Fire Commissioning Engineer Skills and Experience Required:
* Proven experience with fire alarm systems, particularly Kentec and Advanced panels
* Strong knowledge of BS 5839 fire safety standards
* Ability to service, commission, and programme systems
* Experience supporting or overseeing installation teams is advantageous
* A flexible, proactive approach, with the ability to work well in a small business environment
* Full, clean UK driving licence or equivalent
* Experience with other fire protection systems (e.g. emergency lighting, AOVs) is desirable but not essential
