Job Description
We're working with a leading fire consultancy to find a Fire Safety Consultant with proven expertise in external wall assessments, cladding systems, and EWS1/PAS 9980 reporting.
This is an opportunity for a highly experienced Fire Risk Assessor/Fire Safety consultant to progress further in their career, and gain the opportunity to learn and develop in Facades/External Walls. Our client is willing to offer in depth training to assist with PAS9980/FRAEW's.
Salary is dependent on experience and qualifications ranging from £65k up to £90k for the right individual.
As a Fire Safety Consultant, you will:
Conduct complex Fire Risk Assessments on a variety of premises
Prepare clear and comprehensive reports with robust fire risk mitigation advice.
Liaise with clients, building owners, and other stakeholders to advise on remediation strategies.
Work closely with multidisciplinary teams including architects, engineers, and project managers.
Stay up to date with evolving building safety regulations, including the Building Safety Act 2022 and Fire Safety (England) Regulations.
Requirements:
Sound understanding of building construction, fire spread mechanisms, and façade systems.
Knowledge of PAS 9980, EWS1 forms, and fire safety compliance.
Membership with a relevant professional body (e.g. IFE, IFSM, RICS, etc.) preferred.
Excellent communication skills and a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach.
Compartmentation Survey experience
Strong qualifications in Fire Safety
