The Role
We are seeking experienced Fire Door Carpenter Joiners to join our team, working across a variety of contracts throughout the North West. The Fire Door Carpenter Joiner will be responsible for the installation of new fire door sets and undertaking fire door remedial works within sectors such as healthcare, Defence, social housing, and commercial properties.
This is an excellent opportunity for skilled joiners with experience in fire door systems to work with a reputable and growing company delivering high-quality, compliant workmanship.
Responsibilities
* Install new fire door sets in accordance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
* Carry out fire door inspections, maintenance, and remedial works, including adjustment or replacement of components such as hinges, seals, closers, and ironmongery.
* Ensure all installations and repairs are fully compliant with current fire safety regulations and FIRAS requirements.
* Accurately complete all associated documentation and inspection records.
* Work efficiently and safely across occupied and live environments (healthcare and housing).
* Communicate effectively with supervisors, clients, and other trades to ensure smooth project delivery.
Requirements
* NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) or qualified by time served in Carpentry & Joinery.
* Proven experience in fire door installation and remedial works.
* Ideally FIRAS registered as an Installer and/or Supervisor (or working towards accreditation).
* In-depth knowledge of fire door components, compliance standards, and certification requirements.
* CSCS card (preferred).
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the North West region.
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality, accuracy, and compliance.
